The smarts behind Streem's brief building for new customers

Transitioning out of a traditional, legacy media monitoring provider can be at first glance a challenging exercise. It can often be made harder by the outdated structures of keyword briefs and the way legacy operators work.

When Streem on-boards a new customer it’s a great opportunity to refresh your brief and increase the accuracy of your media monitoring. In fact we allocate significant resourcing within our Account Management team as we transition customers, ensuring a fast and painless shift to Streem’s media intelligence platform.

When making the change we’ll first work with a customer on their existing keyword brief. We often find many keywords and terms which are no longer relevant, or are producing poor results because of the legacy provider’s outdated systems. Once a tidy-up is complete our Account Management team then convert the legacy keyword list into a modern, boolean-based brief that uses Streem’s own proprietary flavour of boolean within the Streem platform. With our existing customers reporting high levels of accuracy across Streem’s monitoring, we’re confident this is a worthwhile process and one that Streem handles for incoming customers.

With the customer now having live access to Streem, we’ve integrated smart tools within the platform that allow you to instantly feedback notes on the new brief and changes you want made. As through the life of your contract with Streem, your dedicated Account Manager remains on-hand by phone, email or on-site to further refine the brief, however smart tools within the platform make it a matter of seconds to feedback key information about enhancing your brief.

We take brief building seriously when on-boarding new customers. The accuracy of Streem isn’t just driven by the combination of Technology and Human intelligence, it’s the time we take at the outset (and an ongoing basis) to ensure your brief is accurate, producing high quality results and saving you time when assessing media coverage.

Most of our customers also allow a small transition window when making the shift, allowing our team to build the brief, set-up your accounts and have fast, accurate media monitoring ready to go from day 1.

Our message to you is a simple one: if you’re having trouble with content accuracy, or looking for an alternative in media monitoring; we’d love to talk about how we build briefs and the benefits of going through this process.
