Business Development Manager


The Role:
The Business Development Manager role is responsible for showcasing the power of Streem to media teams across the country. Media teams in large corporate and government departments are looking to move away from legacy systems and time-consuming processes. We aim to fix that by offering a modern, realtime solution that enables them to do their job more effectively.The role reports into our Chief Commercial Officer and is a hybrid role (2-3 days per week in office).The package includes a competitive base salary + commission.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Drive new sales of Streem’s realtime media monitoring platform & other sellable products
  • Grow and nurture leads from a highly targeted market of PR, Communications and Media Managers and their respective organisations
  • Cross-sell new SaaS tools and services
  • Manage your own pipeline of new business via our CRM (Hubspot)
  • Report up to the Head of Business Development weekly on new business metrics
  • Work with Streem’s existing BDM and Account Management team to support and transition new customers
  • Other duties as determined by Streem from time to time

What skills and experiences you’ll need:
  • A minimum of 1-3 years B2B sales experience
  • The ability to talk on the phone, present via screen-share or face to face
  • A strong interest in SaaS platforms and/or media/communications, and a demonstrated background in subscription/technology/digital based product sales
  • A genuine approach to customers, their needs, and the ability to solution-sell
  • Impeccable verbal and written communications skills and strong presentation
